8. Millions of veterans are not using this cash saving benefit.

Over 21 million service members have achieved the dream of owning a home using the VA Loan program since 1944. A VA loan is the best benefit that too many military members are not claiming. Qualified veterans can purchase a home with no down payment. With sky-high housing prices, that can be a significant amount of money to put away for a rainy day. Fewer than 12% of the country’s veterans are using this government program. It’s probably because many military service members don’t think they would qualify or not sure how to start the process. A third of veterans out there are not even aware of the program. Well, we are spreading the word now. We partnered with the VA survey site, which has an online quiz in order to help determine your eligibility for the program, as well as how much money you can receive for your new home.
